SAPNO KI UDAAN

Project Sapno ki Udaan, is an initiative committed to transforming the lives of street children by providing them quality education and holistic development. Our mission is to empower these children to dream big and achieve their full potential, breaking the cycle of poverty and neglect.

At present we are supporting 45 children by providing education, nutrition, hygiene, transportation, and life skills. Despite their challenging backgrounds, these children display incredible determination and hope, embracing opportunities to build a brighter future. The initiative aims to offer not just resources but also dignity, belonging, and the tools to help them realize their dreams.

A Milestone Towards a Brighter Future

The first batch of students under Project Sapno ki Udaan marked a significant milestone for Rays of Life Foundation. Although these children were studying in the 10th standard, many of them struggled with weak academic basics due to irregular education and challenging living conditions. Most of them were uncertain and fearful about whether they would even be able to pass their board examinations.

Recognizing this gap, Rays of Life Foundation took a dedicated initiative by arranging special mentoring support for the students. A mentor worked closely with them, spending individual time strengthening their fundamentals, building confidence, and guiding them consistently throughout their preparation journey.

Today, we are proud to share that all the students from this batch successfully passed their examinations, with the highest score being 66%. This achievement reflects not only academic progress but also the power of timely intervention, mentorship, and emotional support.

As the next step, the Foundation has initiated counselling and career guidance sessions to ensure that these students receive the right direction, support, and opportunities for their future education and growth.

New Afternoon Batch Launched

Date of Commencement: 24th February 2025
Batch Size: 20 Children

With immense joy and pride, we are thrilled to announce the launch of a new afternoon batch under Project Sapno Ki Udaan. This initiative began on 24th February 2025 and has welcomed 20 enthusiastic children into our learning family.

These children come from families of migrant workers hailing from Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, who are employed as construction workers in the city. Despite the many challenges they face, their eagerness to learn, grow, and dream big shines through every day.

Through this new batch, we aim to provide a nurturing environment where these young minds can thrive—academically, emotionally, and socially. Their resilience and determination fuel our commitment to creating a brighter, more inclusive future for every child.

We look forward to supporting their journey and watching them soar with confidence and hope—truly living the spirit of Sapno Ki Udaan.
