Recognizing the needs of senior citizens, Project Second Innings Home will be launched as a dedicated initiative to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for the elderly. Designed to be a home away from home, it will embody warmth, compassion, and understanding. This will be a place where seniors can find comfort and reassurance, knowing they are never alone. They will receive the care they need while enjoying opportunities to share moments of joy, laughter, and connection with others.
The facility will feature a team of dedicated caregivers who will treat the residents as family, ensuring they feel valued, respected, and cherished. Project Second Innings Home is committed to offering seniors the love, dignity, and companionship they deserve, creating a safe haven where they can experience peace and truly embrace their golden years with happiness and fulfilment.
One of the most significant endeavours we undertook this year was identifying the ideal location for Second Innings Home. This project aims to offer senior citizens a serene and nurturing environment to live their golden years with comfort, dignity, peace and happiness.
Multiple potential sites were taken into consideration including scenic areas like Karjat, evaluating each on various parameters. After extensive exploration and careful consideration, we are elated to announce that we have finalized a site in Mau, Lonavala.
Why Mau, Lonavala?
Choosing the right location for the Second Innings Home was a thoughtful process, as the site plays a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and quality of life of its residents. Mau in Lonavala was selected for several compelling reasons:
Proximity to Mumbai & Pune:
Located just 85 kilometres away, it provides easy access for families and visitors while offering a peaceful retreat far removed from the city’s chaos.
Spacious Green Landscape:
Spread across 5.5 acres, the site is enveloped in lush greenery, providing a tranquil environment that promotes relaxation and rejuvenation.
Natural Serenity:
The clean mountain air and the calming sounds of nature create an atmosphere of peace, fostering physical and emotional well-being.
Accessibility and Infrastructure:
The site is well-connected yet maintains the charm of a secluded sanctuary—ideal for senior living.
With the site finalized, the next step involves collaborating with talented architects to design a facility that reflects our vision. Each corner of this home will be crafted with care, ensuring it meets the expected standard of comfort and functionality.
