He is a Chartered Accountant, has done his MBA in International Finance and Marketing from KUL, Belgium and has done his CPA from the USA. As a Director of Rays of Life Foundation, he is involved in daily operations and is actively involved in the project of setting up “Second Innings” home in Mau, near Lonavala, Maharashtra. He is also a Trustee of Suryoday Trust where he is involved in daily operations of Suryoday RBL School and its vocational training centres.

He is the founder Trustee of Suryoday Trust which educates Special needs children since 2010 and also a Trustee of Punarvas Education Society which also educates Special needs children. He has done his post graduation from Mumbai University.

Anil Mohanlal Dron a highly accomplished Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in auditing, accounting, certification, and assurance for multinational companies. Since qualifying in 1987, he has built a distinguished career marked by professionalism and expertise.

Beyond his professional achievements, Anil has dedicated over a decade to supporting non-profit organizations engaged in charitable activities. His contributions span education, child welfare, senior citizen assisted living, orphanages, and shelter homes, reflecting his deep commitment to social impact and community well-being.

Ulhas Deshpande is an accomplished management professional with over 30 years of experience in senior leadership roles within the corporate sector. In addition to his corporate career, he has successfully undertaken two entrepreneurial ventures in the financial services industry. Since retiring from the corporate world, he has been actively pursuing his passion for contributing to the social sector. An avid trekker and traveller, Mr. Deshpande combines his professional acumen with a zest for exploration and community engagement.

Mr. Raghuraman Chandrasekaran

Founder E-Hands Sustainability Foundation

Raghu, a first-generation social entrepreneur, launched E-Hands Energy in 2010 as an energy access social impact venture. E-Hands Energy aims to deliver reliable clean energy at affordable cost to First Time Electricity Users (FTUs), particularly in remote, off-road, and off-network terrains of the Himalayas.

Since 2014, in association with a Japanese NGO; Raghu has mentored over 30 young, upwardly mobile executives from large Japanese global conglomerates under the long term International Corporate Volunteer (ICV) program; sensitizing these bright, future corporate leaders of Japan about the social challenges in India, thus strengthening the bond between two nations. Panasonic, Hitachi, Nissan and JR East are among the participants of ICV with E-Hands.

As an active social worker for two decades, he has facilitated grants to 400 NGOs/grassroot organisations working on rural livelihood, health, sanitation, livelihood and access to clean drinking water & energy in his capacity as Treasurer & Founding Board Member of United Way Chennai (www.unitedwaychennai.org) an affiliate of world's largest private charity, and as the Managing Trustee of SVT Foundation, Basti (U.P) .

Raghu is also the Founding Director and Treasurer of CLEAN (Clean Energy Access Network) an independent non-profit Industry association for Decentralised Renewable Energy (DRE) social enterprises. Currently, Raghu serves as Co-Chair of the Energy Council of the Pan IIT initiative, the WHEELS Global Foundation. He is the Charter Member (CM) of TiE Chennai, & Co-Founder of Rays of Life Foundation, Mumbai.

He is an accomplished professional with a multidisciplinary background in biotechnology, genetics, and social work. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and an MSc in Human Genetics from Andhra University, Vizag, along with a Master’s in Social Work from Nirmala Niketan College of Social Work, Mumbai.

With over two years of experience as an HR in corporate sector and social media manager for an NGO, has developed strong skills in organizational management and community engagement. His extensive professional journey spans diverse fields, including research in plant biotechnology, working with the Telangana State Forensic Lab, and driving sustainable livelihood initiatives for tribal communities in Palghar through the Hinduja Foundation. Additionally, he gained invaluable experience during his internship at Tata Memorial Hospital, where he supported cancer patients—both adults and children—through holistic care and rehabilitation programs.

His unique blend of scientific expertise and compassionate social work makes him an integral part of the Rays of Life Foundation team, contributing to the organization’s mission of transforming lives and creating lasting impact.
